BABY Audio – Atoms 1.2 STANDALONE, VSTi, VSTi3, AAX x86 x64

Atoms is a new synthesizer plugin that uses advanced physical modeling technologies to create an endless variety of organic and otherworldly sounds. Use it to create rich and vibrant textures the world has never heard before.

Complex Physics in a Simple Package.

Physical modeling simulates the behavior of real instruments. But Atoms lets you push the boundaries of what’s possible in the real world. Its capabilities are broad enough to explore the boundaries of sound design, yet simple enough to easily distort, shape, and create sounds.

Atoms works by simulating interconnected masses and springs with customizable properties and dimensions. The model is driven by a virtual bow, which excites the system and causes it to vibrate, generating sound.

A Living Organism.

Nothing in the natural world is truly static. Physical modeling mimics this, generating sounds with the same organic vibrations as acoustic instruments.
Atoms goes even further. Its six core parameters can be automated with a set of powerful motion options to add dynamics. This allows you to create soundscapes that are constantly changing and regenerating, just like in a living organism.
If you’re used to working with sample libraries, Atoms will bring a new level of otherworldly realism to your tracks.

PROGRAM NEW PATCHES WITH A SINGLE CLICK

. Atoms features a powerful randomization engine. This musically calibrated algorithm selectively adjusts each parameter based on its relationship with other parameters, creating usable patches with every roll of the dice.
You can further refine the algorithm by limiting the random ranges for any knob or locking parameters from change.

Finally, the “Repeat” button is a second randomizer that creates new patches similar to the current one. If you like a sound, click “Repeat” to explore similar options.

PHYSICALLY MODELED EFFECTS

. The bottom panel offers a range of creative effects for further sound processing. You can also choose from four sound profiles, each offering a different modeling structure for mass networks and springs.

With the exception of Space (reverb), all effects on the bottom panel are generated within the Physical Model itself. This allows for a range of unique modulation effects that are an integral part of the Physical Model and sound more natural than any separate effects chain.
